In today's intensifying high-end new energy vehicle market, models in the RMB 500,000 segment must withstand rigorous market scrutiny. As one such contender, Zeekr's first large luxury plug-in hybrid SUV — the Zeekr 9X — has drawn significant attention since its debut. And based on order performance, it seems to have no trouble finding buyers.

On September 29, the Zeekr 9X officially launched in four variants — Max, Ultra, Hyper, and Black Edition — with an MSRP range of RMB 465,900 to RMB 599,900. Post-launch order performance was outstanding: 10,000 firm orders within just 13 minutes, and over 30,000 within 10 days. While firm orders do not equal final locked orders, these figures nonetheless reflect strong market recognition.

Notably, this performance appears to have exceeded Zeekr's initial expectations. Recent reports suggest initial production capacity for the Zeekr 9X was only around 5,000 units, but orders have far surpassed projections — buyers now face at least a six-month wait. If delivery pace can keep up, sales performance looks promising.
